Two arrested for signing fake name on traffic ticket
State Police say they've arrested two people for signing a false name on a traffic ticket when they were pulled over in May.
Twenty-four-year-old William Blair of Queensbury and 22-year-old Jennifer Purchase of Corinth were pulled over by State Police for a traffic violation in May, say police. At the time, Blair identified himself as someone with the last name of Johndrow; Purchase mailed in the traffic ticket with the signed name "Johndrow."
Blair was subsequently arrested for misdemeanor criminal impersonation and felony offering a false instrument for filing.
Purchase was arrested for felony forgery and offering a false instrument for filing.
