Hollywood Video in Albany to close

ALBANY -- Two weeks after its parent company filed for Chapter 11, the Hollywood Video store on Western Ave. in Albany is set to close.
The store has started calling its customers to notify them of the pending closure.
A worker at the store said the store was notified early this week it would be shut down in the next three to seven weeks, but wasn't given a hard timeline.
The store at 1225 Western Ave. was the last of the Hollywood Video chain in Albany. Another one on Central Ave. closed last fall.
